Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the age of 88.

Son of Luka and Christina. Devoted husband of 59 years to the late Romana. Loving father to Dmytro (Elizabeth) and Oleh (Wendy). Brother of Luba (late Fedir) Kosteniuk and the late Peter.

Paul and his family immigrated to Canada from Ukraine in the early 1950s. Here, he met Romana and together they had a family and built a successful business (Johns TV).

Paul was an avid athlete all his life. Through his involvement in the volleyball community, first as a player, and then as a coach he mentored generations of young men and women.

Paul was a man of honesty and integrity. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street W., Toronto, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 6-9 p.m. On Thursday, June 12, 2025, a service will be held in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St W, Oakville.
