In Celebration of

Milka Pavicic

March 8, 1924 -  May 24, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Milka Pavicic on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Milka was born in Kunici, Croatia. She was a daughter of 6 siblings. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, friend, kuma, aunt, grandmother & great grandmother. Milka is predeceased by her late husband Stjepan and her son Nikola. She leaves behind her son, Ivan & daughter in law Ane. Grandchildren Ivan (Ashley), Maryanne (Valentino) and Rosie (Michael). Great grandchildren Ava, Austin & Victoria.

Being a very strong and agile woman, she had a fierce will to live and fight till her last breath. She had a green thumb that turned her garden into paradise, and she cherished every moment tending to her vegetables. She will be remembered for her hospitality. A true host, she found joy in gathering friends and family, always with a carefully chosen bottle of wine in hand. Against all odds she beat several illnesses during the last 5 years of her life. She lived a long life and was a true testament of resilience, strength and determination.

She will be missed by friends & family in Canada & Croatia.

Visitation will take place on Thursday May 29, at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario Street) from 2:00– 4:00pm and 6:00–9:00pm, with Rosary at 8pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th, at 10:00am at Croatian Martyrs Church, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery.

Milka, was a lovely friendly lady. My mother was her roommate for about a year at McCall's and everyday I would visit and she was so friendly, kind, independant and strong. May she Rest in Peace, she has more then earned it. My condolences to her family. Her legacy lives on in all of you.
