It is with profound sadness and heartache that we announce the unexpected passing of Mark William Sauvé on Friday, April 2, 2021. Loving husband of Isabel, beloved son of the late Edward Sauvé and Janine Snowdon (Cam), brother Don (Susan), and sisters Cathy (Nelson) and Diane (Dany). He also leaves behind nieces Amanda, Christine, Tanya, and nephews Nicholas, Steven, and Michael, in addition to many cousins from the Paquette and Sauvé families.
Mark was a lover of great literature, great thinkers, music, and baseball. He was a giving and thoughtful person who was kind to strangers and animals. He loved nature, swimming in the lake by the cottage, and chip trucks. Learning to play the guitar was one of his proudest accomplishments. Through the years, Mark's faith was renewed and this was what strengthened and sustained him throughout the various chapters of his life.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I love you forever, pumpkin.
Never to be forgotten. Always in my heart...
