It is with deep sadness that the family of Malcolm McIntyre, 86, of Mississauga announces his passing on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025.
Born to John Norbert and Mary Evalina on May 12, 1938 on the caribbean island of Dominica.
He married his loving wife of 60 years, Euphemie (Tingale), and went on to be the proud father of three children. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1980.
After completing his studies, he began his career in Banking at Barclays Bank in Dominica and continued in the banking industry with TD Bank in Canada until retirement.
He is survived by this wife Euphemie, daughters Sharon (Cedric), Michelle, and son Sigmund (Jacqui). Grandsons Joshua and Zachary, siblings Conrad McIntyre in Dominica, Lorna Phillips in the USA and Franklin McIntyre in the USA. Godsons Cedric McIntyre and Angus McIntyre, Goddaughters Janelle McIntyre, Sanura Lambert-Hussein and Nicole Champagne.
Malcolm, a sports enthusiast, will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend whose sense of humour, resilience and trust in God guided him through his life.
