Uncle Mally!!!! You have no idea how happy I am that I visited you on Saturday, 2 days before your passing. Though your eyes were closed, you held on to my hand and squeezed me a few times. Were you trying to tell me something? When I kissed you and told you goodbye, I didnt think it was forever. You fought a good, long fight and I understand that you had to go. I understand that, but I will miss you dearly. You were the troublesome uncle, always teasing and joking around but we loved it. The family will always remember aunty Tingale and yourself hosting the "after midnight mass party" on Christmas eve. The Christmas plays that the children put on just for you'll and your famous "whitey" punch a creme drink. Things will never be the same without you. Mama and yourself were the only two in Canada and your bond with her was strong as it was with her children. Life wont be the same without you uncle Mally. Rest in peace and tell your sisters that I miss them.
