Josephine Camilleri

October 21, 1934 -  June 26, 2025


Born in Gzira, Malta, on October 21, 1934, the only child of George Attard and Esther Baldacchino. From an early age, loved music. Was a graduate of the Royal School of Music, England, obtaining an LRSM. Was a concert pianist and taught piano for most of her life. Married Benjamin Camilleri in 1963, and had three sons. Immigrated to Canada in 1980, settling in Mississauga. Was always joyful, and full of faith. Lost Benjamin in 2014. Is dearly missed by her sons, Harold (Cathy), Charles (Maria) and Bishop Ivan; her four grandsons Andrew, Harrison, Hudson and Hanson; and many family, friends and students.

Visitation at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 5 – 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 921 Flagship Drive, Mississauga on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11 a.m.

Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
