Passed away unexpectedly at Toronto General Hospital, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 65, after complications caused by a ruptured heart muscle. Beloved husband of Anita. Devoted father of Tara.
He left a wonderful legacy behind as an orthopaedic surgeon in Serbia and as a program administrator, after immigrating to Canada in 1993.
He was dedicated to his work as Program Administrator at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Toronto. His medical background from back home enabled him to exceptionally contribute to the program he cared for so deeply.
Everyone will forever remember him as the extraordinary human being that he was. He left an impression on anyone he came across.
His immense willingness to help and unique sense of humour made him the favourite among numerous friends.
He was loved by his and Anita’s huge family back home, taking on active roles as son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and brother-in-law.
His limitless love and support, his role as third musketeer, and his constant presence in their lives will be missed forever by Tara and Anita.
As per his wish, the funeral will be held in Belgrade, Serbia.
