It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Horvat (nee Trimble), who passed away peacefully, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, on Friday, April 4, 2025 in her 90th year.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband John and siblings Marjorie, Howard, Alice, and Bernice.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Monica, and a cherished mother-in-law to Kevin. She is survived by her siblings Ross, Norma, Clara, and Edith and will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Though her presence will be profoundly missed, we take solace in knowing that her light will continue to shine through the lives she touched. We are grateful for the time we had with her and the memories that will forever be a part of our hearts.

Rest in peace. You have been a protector and a bright light in our lives, and we will carry your love, wisdom, courage, and strength with us always.
