With hearts full of both sorrow and faith, we share that Christopher Canete was called home to the Lord on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He has now reunited in eternal peace with his beloved grandparents, Emma (2020) and Cesar Andocilla (2007).

Christopher was a cherished son of Valeska and Cristian, and a deeply loved brother to Cindy. His gentle spirit and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew him.

Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his soul lives on- in our memories, in our hearts, and in the light he brought to the world. May he rest in the embrace of the Divine, surrounded by everlasting love and grace.

Rest peacefully, Christopher. You are eternally loved and never forgotten.

He walked through life with a joyful spirit, sharing laughter, kindness, generosity with everyone around him. Christopher, your laughter echoes in our hearts, your light remains in our lives, and your soul rests with the Lord. We will always love you, and we carry you with us- until we meet again.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario Street), Mississauga, Tuesday, from 2-5 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena (2340 Hurontario Street), Mississauga Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11 am. Entombment at Assumption Cemetery.


Con el corazón lleno de dolor y fe, compartimos que Christopher Cañete fue llamado a casa con el Señor el domingo 1 de junio de 2025. Ahora se ha reunido en paz eterna con sus queridos abuelos, Emma (2020) y César Andocilla (2007).

Christopher fue un querido hijo de Valeska y Cristian, y un hermano profundamente querido para Cindy. Su espíritu bondadoso y su amor inquebrantable serán recordados por todos los que lo conocieron.

Aunque ya no está con nosotros, su alma sigue viva: en nuestros recuerdos, en nuestros corazones y en la luz que trajo al mundo. Que descanse en el abrazo de la Divinidad, rodeado de amor y gracia eternos.

Descansa en paz, Christopher. Eres eternamente amado y jamás olvidado.

Caminó por la vida con un espíritu alegre, compartiendo risas, bondad y generosidad con todos los que lo rodeaban. Christopher, tu risa resuena en nuestros corazones, tu luz permanece en nuestras vidas y tu alma descansa con el Señor. Siempre te amaremos y te llevaremos con nosotros hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo en la Capilla Turner & Porter Peel (Calle Hurontario 2180), Mississauga, el martes de 14:00 a 17:00 y de 18:00 a 21:00. La misa funeral se celebrará en Santa Catalina de Siena (Calle Hurontario 2340), Mississauga, el miércoles 11 de junio de 2025 a las 11:00. El entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio de la Asunción.
