Bruce Douglas Morrow
February 23, 1941 - March 15, 2014
Bruce Douglas Morrow, of Burlington, born in Montreal, Quebec, the son of Stewart and Hazel Morrow, died on March 15, 2014, at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga after a long valiant struggle. Bruce enjoyed a wonderful life as part of the Canadian Toy industry, traveled the world and made many good friends.
Sadly, he was pre-deceased by his younger brother Craig and his mentor cousin Douglas Walters and wife Joan Walters. Bruce is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Thornton). Proud father of Heidi and Geoff, Heather and Nelson. Very proud Papa of Capri, Sloane and baby Farra. Brother in Law to Pat MacDonald and John Thornton. Bruce is also survived by his brother Allen Hedley, and his cousins Robert, Bill and Marlene Taylor.
He was the best uncle to many nieces and nephews, whom I am sure will miss their uncle Bruce in the years to come. Bruce was an avid skier and boater. He had a zest for life and a passion for Hockey. A very special thank you to the Doctors and staff at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga who cared for him.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk – Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, with words being spoken at 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made to the Trillium Health Centre.
