<div itemprop="description">Peacefully, at the Northridge Long Term Care Centre, Oakville, on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the age of 91.&nbsp; Loving and dedicated husband for 59 years of the late Madeline (September, 2002).&nbsp; Beloved father of Nicole Formanek (Ed) and Michael Curran (Shirley).&nbsp; Proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Andrea Meyer (Graham), Devon (Pete) and Madelaine and cherished great grandfather of Julia and John.&nbsp; Dear brother of the late Bill, Jack and Tom and brother-in-law of Norma Curran and Vera Nunn and dance partner of Kay. Serving his country as an RCAF flying officer, Arch&rsquo;s character was refined into that of a true officer and a gentleman.&nbsp; He was a world traveler who lived life to the fullest.&nbsp; Arch loved golfing, curling, playing bridge and ballroom dancing, but his true love was for his family who always came first.&nbsp; Thank you to all the staff from Northridge Long Term Care Centre, for all of their excellent care and compassion provided to our father.&nbsp; Special thanks to Heritage Place in Burlington who also went above and beyond.&nbsp; Friends may call at the Turner &amp; Porter &quot;Peel&quot; Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 30, 2012, at 11 o&rsquo;clock.&nbsp; For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart House Hospice or to the Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society.&nbsp; On-line condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca.&nbsp;</div>
