January 18, 1938 - December 11, 2025
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Walter on December 11, 2025, peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. He would have celebrated his 88th birthday on January 18th.
He will be terribly missed by his wife Mary of 58 years and fondly remembered by his many friends here in Canada, as well as by relatives in his native Slovakia.
As per his wishes, Walter will be cremated and only a simple funeral service will take place in the new year; details will be announced when they are confirmed.
