Vivian Greenidge passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home in Mississauga, on May 10, 2025. Beloved wife of Victor Greenidge, with whom she shared a love and special relationship for more than 40 years. Loving mother of Natasha, Markitha and Troy. Dear grandmother (Nana) of Junior and Naomi. Big sister to Monica, Stephen, William, Marvin and Judy .Vivian will be lovingly remembered by many other family and friends.
Vivian Greenidge was born in St. Philip Barbados and came to Canada in 1975. She lived mainly in the Mississauga area. Vivian was strong, hard working and family oriented. She never hesitated to help someone in need and never looked for anything in return. She showed her love through her wonderful cooking and always welcomed everyone with open arms and a beautiful smile. She touched many with her kind nature and always provided them with a safe place.
Family and Friends are asked to gather for the viewing at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW), Mississauga, on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 6 – 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Church of St. Bride Anglican, 1516 Clarkson Road, (N. of Truscott Dr.), Mississauga, on Saturday May 24, 2025, at 11am. Interment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
