It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ute Deoni, who passed away on November 25th, 2025, at Trillium Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. A woman of remarkable strength, perseverance, and ambition, Ute had a deep love for church and faith, which guided her throughout her life.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Deoni, loving mother of Steven and Chris, and cherished mother-in-law of Laura Deoni. Ute’s grandchildren, Natasha, Dani, and Joseph, will remember her lessons on taking life day by day, enjoying every moment, and living with courage and resilience.

Ute valued her friendships deeply and was a loyal and inspiring friend to many. She is reunited in peace with her mother, her aunts, her grandmother, and her husband, Frank, as well as her late in-laws, Joseph and Mary. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Anne.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at Turner & Porter Funeral Home, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga from 4 -7 pm.

Funeral Mass: Friday December 5 at 12:30 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 11 Peter Street South, Mississauga.

Burial: St. Mary’s Port Credit Catholic Cemetery, 2099 Dickson Road, Mississauga.

A lunch in remembrance will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Port Credit Compass, or St. Vincent de Paul would be greatly appreciated.
