It is with deep love and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Teresa Barbara Rodrigues, who departed this life peacefully on June 18, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born on December 4, 1932, in Zanzibar, Teresa dedicated her life to education and faith. As a devoted teacher, she nurtured generations of students with compassion and patience. A faithful Catholic, her life was anchored in prayer, service, and love for her family and community.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Rodrigues, and together they built a strong and loving family rooted in faith. Teresa is survived by her children, Irene and Patrick and his wife Delphine, her grandchildren Amanda and Daniel and his wife Colleen, and her great-granddaughter Shannon. She also leaves behind her sister, Anne, and brother-in-law Tony, and their families, who were very close throughout her life.

Teresa's life was a testament to quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and gentle grace. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her family and in the countless lives she touched.

July 2nd between 4PM and 8PM : Visitation/viewing will be held at Turner and Porter Funeral Home (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga).
July 3rd at 10 AM : Funeral Mass on at Merciful Redeemer Parish (2775 Erin Centre Blvd, Mississauga) celebrating Teresa’s life and faith.
July 3rd at approx 12 noon : After the service, she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, John, in eternal peace, at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge).
July 3rd at approx 12:30PM onwards: A "celebration of life" gathering will be held at Fionn MacCool's ( 6110 Hwy 7, Woodbridge)
