He is survived by his parents Franciszek and Teresa Paź and siblings Wieslawa (Artur) Kuczewski-Paz, Ania (Darek) Makarska, Andrzej (Bozena) Paź, and Agnieszka (Pawel) Partyka. He is remembered by many nieces, nephews, and family in Canada, United States, and Poland.
Stanisław “Staszek” Paź was born on May 12, 1972 in Jeżowe, Podkarpackie in southeastern Poland, to Franciszek and Teresa (née Bałut). Staszek grew up in the small village of Podlesie close to Jezowe where he spent most of his childhood and went to school. He continued his technical schooling in Rzeszow and afterwards completed military training in Modlin pod Warszawa with the 2ga Warszawska Brygada Saperów of the Polish Army from April 1992 to September 1993.
Staszek met his loving wife Justyna in 1990, at a family friend's wedding in Cholewiana Gora, Poland. Their love quickly grew and they married on July 30, 1994 in Cholewiana Gora. Staszek and Justyna then moved to Canada in August of 1994 with Justyna’s parents and started a family, raising a son and daughter in Mississauga, Ontario. They settled in Mississauga and became active members of the Polish community as parishioners of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.
Staszek enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially riding his bike and camping up north with his family. He was also known as a handy man around the house and workplace, devoting his time to repairing and fixing various items in the household; spending many hours in the garage in order to get things done. This was also evident in the work Staszek did on an everyday basis as he was a highly knowledgeable and respected CNC Machine Operator at Andron Stainless Limited for over 15 years. He was greatly devoted to his work with unwavering dedication, passion, and hard working mentality. Staszek was remembered as a creative and detail-oriented person, his gentle and calm nature will be greatly missed by his closest family and by many that knew him.
Staszek was a loving husband, father, brother, and son, who always put his family first and gave all that he could to give the best life for his family. He will be remembered for the good that he brought into our lives forever.
In memory of Staszek, donations may be made to the Daily Bread Food Bank or ShareLife.
