Passed away in her sleep at home in Toronto on Tuesday morning, January 6, 2026 at the age of 77. Loved the Lord.
Survived by her husband of 56 years, Scott Morgan, daughter Liberty Morgan, sister Dorothy Chamberlain, and brothers Darren and John Toop. Predeceased by her late grandson Xavier Morgan, sister Jessie Attwood, and brothers Dr. Roger Toop, Rev. David Toop, and Joe Toop.
Born in 1948 in Almonte, Ontario, Ruth was 6th of a farming family of eight children born to Fred and Irene Toop. Late of Morningside High Park Presbyterian Church and St. Olave’s Anglican Church in Toronto.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West), Toronto with guests welcome from 2 pm until service begins at 3 pm.
