In Celebration of
Pertti (Bert) Juhani Nupponen
April 21, 1930 - November 3, 2025
Pertti Nupponen better known as Bert by friends and Papa by his family, passed away on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at the age of 95. He joins his predeceased wife Hilkka Elizabeth in golden pastures. He also leaves behind his three daughters, Diane, Karen, Brenda, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed, for his larger-than-life personality, wit and sense of humor. The fish are safer, and the wildlife are free to roam as Bert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his weeklong hunts with his gangs during open season. The family will hold close their memories of cottage life, roaring campfires, and late-night sauna and swims. The countless vacations, both tropical and abroad, spilled wine and feasts shared. A more loyal trusting and generous friend could not be found. We will all miss you.
