On December 20, 2025, Olga Pankiw passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Olga was a beloved mother to Mark and John-Andrew, wife to Keith, sister to Mike, Maryanne, and Ron, and a dear friend to so many.
Olga grew up in Toronto, a proud Ukrainian Catholic. She loved her city and her community. Olga spent her career as a civil servant and manager. She was dedicated to helping people find a home in this country. After retirement, she continued to challenge herself. She took on assignments and worked overseas in more than a dozen countries. She was driven to keep learning. She went back to school and completed professional studies.
Olga devoted her life to her family. She was an incredible mum who gave everything for her boys. They knew how much she worked and cared for them even as they got older. Her relentless effort has lead to their success and anything they achieve is shared with her. She will be deeply missed.
Olga loved flowers. In lieu of some flowers, send lots.
