It is with deep sadness that the family of Olga Krawec announces her passing on March 19, 2026, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 92. Born on July 15, 1933, in Sudbury, Ontario, Olga was the beloved daughter of the late John and Justine Bilowus.
After completing her schooling in Sudbury, Olga began working as a secretary at Foot and Goring Insurance, where her attention to detail and warm manner were quickly recognized. She later married Roman Krawec, and together they moved to Toronto, where they built a home and welcomed their cherished son, Theodore.
In Toronto, Olga discovered her true calling in real estate, a career that spanned more than 50 years. She worked with several respected firms and became known for her integrity, perseverance, and genuine care for her clients. She concluded her remarkable career at Home Life Cimerman retiring in May 2024 after helping generations of families find a place to call home. A successful businesswoman, Olga was proud of the properties she owned over the years, including winter residences in Florida - Vero Beach and Hallandale as well as the summer cottage at Balsam Lake.
A woman of deep faith and quiet strength, Olga was a long standing and devoted member of St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church on La Rose Avenue, where she found joy in her spiritual life and Ukrainian heritage. She served as President of the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League and the Seniors’ Club, offering her time and talents in service to others. Her kindness, encouraging words, and steadfast prayers touched countless lives, leaving an enduring mark on all who knew her. She was a true “well wisher,” always wanting the very best for everyone she encountered.
Olga will be forever loved and remembered by her late son Theodore (Johanne Di Donato) of Cambridge, England.
Olga will be deeply missed by her sister Sonia Hucal (late Slawko), sister in law Maria Krawec (late Orest), brother in law Walter Krawec (Joan), and sister in law Jeanna (late Eugene). She was predeceased by her siblings Anne Dolchewski (Al), Angela Behun (Paul), and John Bilowus (Olga). She will also be fondly remembered by her many nephews, nieces, and dear friends. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, and compassion.
In recent years, Olga made her home at the Ivan Franko Retirement Home in Mississauga, where she met many new friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, going on excursions, visiting the spa, and taking part in activities. She had a lifelong love of going to the Casino delighting in the fun and camaraderie it brought.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. West, Mississauga, on Friday, March 27, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m., with Panakhyda (prayers) at 7 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Volodymyr Chapel, 1280 Dundas St. West, Oakville, with interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Olga’s memory may be made to Ivan Franko Homes or to a charity of your choice.
