It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mona, Ta to most, who left us peacefully on March 21, at the age of 83. She was the heart of our family, a woman of beauty and elegance.

Born on November 2, 1941 in El Minya, Egypt, Mona was the daughter of Victoria and Adly Kamel (deceased), a loving wife to Shafik (deceased), a cherished sister to Lola and Kamal (deceased), devoted mother to Shahira (Maged) and Miriam (Sherif). Mona was a proud grandmother to Shahir, Natalie, Sarah, Farida and David. A caring aunt to Ashraf, Alaa, and Karim, and of course, a loving friend and relative to many.

Her laughter, her phone calls, and her bright spirit will be deeply missed more than words can express. Though our hearts are sad, we find comfort in the countless beautiful memories she gave us.

Rest peacefully, our dear Mona, Your love will forever be our hearts.
