Passed away at peacefully at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in her 87th year.

Beloved wife of the late Karel Gabrscek. Loving mother of Miriam Jablonski (John). Proud grandmother of Matthew (Priya), and Nicole (Ben). Great grandmother of Maximus, Alexandra, and Arielle. Dear sister of Cvetka Domazet, and sister-in-law of Frida Kavcic. Marica will also be missed by her extended family in Canada and Slovenia, and by her many friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Sunday, from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church, 739 Brown’s Line, Toronto, on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 10 o’clock. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
