It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Lorna Hawkett (Francis), who passed peacefully on April 12, 2025 at Etobicoke General Hospital, at the age of 88. Lorna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gordon and is survived by her son Thomas (Melissa) and daughter Karen (Jeffery Wysman), brothers Maurice Francis (Ruth) and Ian Francis. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephew, as well as, Brandon Wysman and family.

Lorna was a proud graduate of Toronto Western Hospital Nursing in 1958 as an RN and enjoyed life long friendships with many of her Alumnae.

A chapel service will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1pm followed immediately by Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
