In Celebration of

Lois E. McKinney

September 16, 1925 - December 12, 2025

Mrs. Lois E. McKinney, age 100, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born on September 16, 1925.

Lois lived a long, meaningful life marked by curiosity, kindness, and quiet strength. She was a devoted member of the Streetsville Historical Society for 55 years, joining in 1970. During that time, she dedicated many years to genealogical research, a passion that earned her several awards and the respect of those who shared her love of history.

Lois was known as a woman with a heart of gold. Her warm smile could light up a room, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She lived her life guided by faith, believing in God’s grace and the importance of love, patience, and gratitude.

She is survived by her great-granddaughters, Taunya and Jessica, and her great-great-grandsons, Raven, Hunter, and Wyatt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and arranged by the family.
