We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Watt, who passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, at the age of 80. Judy lived a rich and fulfilling life, marked by her kindness, dedication, and compassion for her family, friends, and community.
Judy was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas Watt; her parents, Betty (Proctor) and Lorne Heeney; and her dear cousin, Peter Heeney. She leaves behind her devoted and lifelong friend, Molly Yeates, who provided constant love and support. Judy will also be fondly remembered by her cousins Norman, Douglas, Jonathan, Michael, Joseph, Maureen, and their families.
Judy spent over 40 years working at Kodak Canada, where she was a respected and admired colleague. Outside of work, she was a passionate and dedicated volunteer, giving her time generously to causes close to her heart. Judy's leadership and commitment to community service inspired others and led to meaningful, long-term improvements in the lives of those she helped and the causes she supported.
Judy's kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched those who knew her well. She will be remembered for her steadfast dedication to her friends, her community at the Balmoral, and the causes she supported.
