It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie Michael Way, of Mississauga, Ontario who died surrounded by family and friends on December 31st at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. Jamie was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Debbie, a deeply cherished father to his sons, Jesse and Garrett and caring brother to his siblings Rick Way (Eleanor), Cherie Dear (Gary), the late Debra Crawford (Jim) and Karen Way. His family was his greatest pride and place of solace, everything he did was centered on his love and affection to them.

As both Husband and Father he was steadfast, caring and supportive. Listening and thoughtful when needed but always able to make you laugh even when it wasn't appropriate, his distinctive cackle would just make you laugh even more. He treasured both the quiet times up at the cottage with family as well as family outings be they drive-in movies, scooting around on the lake or the annual trip to the CNE. All cherished memories.

Jamie took pride in his trade skills developed over a career in property management spanning over forty years first with Bunston Private equity then with Evton Capital partners from 1995 till his passing. He Always had a project that he was whiling away on at home and was always happy to help others whether it be with advice or hands on help. These projects and connections were something he took pride in and those who worked with him or sought his advice were aware of that fact with his openness and thoughtfulness.

Known for his compassion and humour, Jamie was able to make the quiet, ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. The personal connections he built with everyone he met and the love he extended to his family and friends truly showed how special he was.

Though he has left us earlier than any of us would have liked, the life he lived was not only a good one but one fulfilled. He was our pride, our joy, our anchor and he will not be forgotten. Jamie will continue forward in our hearts and memories.
