In 1946 she graduated from The Mother House, run by The Grey Nuns in Ville-Marie, Montreal. Georgette Worked for Air Canada as a customer service advisor, and was their first model, introducing their uniforms.
Georgette wrote and produced the Burlington Beat, a local community engagement TV show when living in Burlington, Ontario in the 1970s.
Cherished sister of Gerald and Connie Guertin of Pointe Claire, Quebec. Aunt to Brian, Kevin and Peter.
Beloved mother of Paul and Diane, from her first marriage.
In 1960, Georgette found the love of her life, Edward Healy of Kilkenny, Ireland at a friend’s wedding in Montreal. Together they married, raised three children, Kieran Healy, Yvonne Robertson and Darren Healy and built a wonderful life in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Georgette is survived by many grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto.
