Erla passed away November 27, 2015 in her 105th year.

A founding member of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto and The Etobicoke Quilters Guild, she shared her enthusiasm and lively community spirit with her many friends in both organizations.

Always cheerful, eager to help and reliable, her support and assistance and strong quiet presence were deeply appreciated by both family and friends.

She joins her husband Robert Cameron Macaulay who passed away in 1995. Erla will be fondly remembered by her son Douglas, daughter Lois and by grandchildren Brant and his wife Bailey, and Brock and his wife Lauren, and their son Mason Macaulay.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hennick Bridgepoint Palliative Care Unit and at West Park Long Term Care for their attention and kindness to Mom.
