It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Glazebrook, peacefully in her 86th year, on Tuesday December 2nd, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Betty will be forever missed by her devoted husband of 61 years, Garry, and lovingly remembered by her children, Greg (Gina), Suzanne (Tim) and Jennifer (Shawn). She leaves behind a legacy of love and joy as the proud grandmother to Brandon, Jade, Matthew, Kennedy, Andrew, Patrick, Jessica, Noah, Emily, and Nathaniel.

A woman of deep compassion, warmth and tradition, Betty found immense joy in spending time with her family. She had a passionate love for history and an immense love for reading. Betty’s hands were never still, whether knitting, crocheting or baking. She created many cherished keepsakes that will be passed down for generations.

Betty was her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader, always supporting them in all their endeavors with a heart full of pride. Her sentimental nature and the bonds she cherished with her loved ones will be remembered forever.

A life well-lived, Betty leaves a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 4-8pm at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga. Funeral mass will be at 11:30am on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at St Patrick's Church, 921 Flagship Dr, Mississauga. Interment and reception to follow.
