We were all privileged to have had such a beautiful, generous and graceful lady with us for so many years.
Doris was a most loving wife, a devoted mother, an adored grandmother and a cherished great grandmother. She will be missed and mourned. Doris loved laughter, dancing, beautiful flowers, the colours of the evening sky and holding hands with her husband. She painted and sketched the faces of those she admired and loved. The most delightful time of day was always when she had visits or received phone calls from her wonderful grandchildren. Doris shared a life-long closeness with her sister Sylvia, brother-in-law Tony, and their family. Tea time, sweets, shopping at the Bay on Seniors’ Day, and many a dinner were shared together for the fabulous four. These two couples defeated many troubles together yet enjoyed every minute because they were together! Doris so appreciated the very many veranda visits and lively conversations with sister-in-law Li.
Doris was a wonderful woman who will not be forgotten by her friends and loved ones.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Peel and/or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be most appreciated.
