In Celebration of

Diane Krebs

July 23, 1933 - August 10, 2020

Passed away peacefully at her home with daughter Elaine by her side, August 10 2020 at 87years. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Cherished mother of Elaine. Dear sister of the late Joan Fitzgerald and the late Sheila Scovell. Dear cousin John Murphy and family. Diane had a brief acute illness that ended her life too soon. She was born in Deseronto Ont. to Elizabeth (Bessie) Iydelle Loughlin and Clare William Malley in 1933. She was the youngest of 3 girls. Her father who had fought in WW1, was the town's pharmacist (Malley's Drug Store) as well as the mayor. Her mother ran the store connected to the pharmacy and was a talented artist. Diane had a wonderful childhood which helped shape her into the beautiful woman that she was. Diane met Harry (the love of her life) in Ottawa. A few years later in 1957 they married and moved to Toronto. My Mom Diane was a proud Canadian who enjoyed boating, gardening, swimming and walking. She loved shopping for fine clothing, good food and wine and being in the company of family and good friends. Her wit and humor is unforgettable. My mother, my best friend and confident, I love and miss you forever - Elaine A private family service was held followed by cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
