Charles James Stock passed away at 93 years on January 19, 2026. He is mourned by his wife of 61 years, Sandra (O’Hearn), his three children, Brian, Karen, Kevin and wife Michelle Mayer and their children Charlotte and Conor.

Chuck led an exemplary life, balancing his passions for family and teaching. He was a people person, putting relationships first. He brought his persistent smile and good nature to all who met him. He welcomed friends and family to the cottage every summer, making it a meaningful and joyous gathering spot for everyone he cared about. Chuck had a stellar career with the Toronto District School Board, teaching at Mimico High School, Vincent Massey, Alderwood and North Albion Collegiates. He rose to English Department Head and fostered many strong relationships with colleagues throughout his career.

We are all immensely grateful for the long life he gave us. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 31st at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, ON M9A 1B6. Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. The Chapel Service from 2 p.m. - 2:45 p.m., coffee and dessert from 2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to feed the hungry at Harvest Share Parry Sound.
