Amanda Ruttan entered peacefully into eternal sleep on her 35th birthday, October 31st, 2025.

Amanda will be greatly missed by her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Her passing brings a crater size hole to everyone who knew her. She was the #1 favourite child in a family of 6 children. Amanda was the happiest person no matter the day, full of life and smiles. She always was willing to lend a helping hand to all that need it no matter if she knew you or not. She was a very quiet reserved woman who would be the first one to jump up to protect all those around her. Amanda is the loving mother of Hailey 18, Faith 14, Damien 12, and Hope 11. Beloved daughter of Bruce Ruttan and Shirley Vanbuskirk. Oldest sister to Jessica, Matthew, Brandon, Stephanie, and Angelina. Half sister to Michelle and Charmine. Loving aunt to Isabella, Antonio and Antonella. Predeceased by her grandparents Myrtle & Raymond Ruttan.

Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St West) on Wednesday November 19th, 2025, 5pm - 9pm. Service will be held at Yorke Chapel on November 20th, 2025 at 11am. Followed by the entombment of Amanda Ruttan at Paradise Mausoleum, Park Lawn Cemetery.

Family requests that Flowers be sent to Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel 2357 Bloor Street West. Donations are greatly welcomed to Children’s Aid Foundation of Toronto.
