Diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension over twenty years ago and given less than two years to live, Alda defied all medical expectations. Her love for life, her determination, and her courage carried her far beyond what anyone believed possible. She faced every challenge with dignity and grace, never complaining, and never allowing her illness to define her.
A devoted mother, Alda raised two boys while working full-time and still creating a warm and loving home. Her commitment to her family was endless. She was patient, protective, and always present—even in the small hours of the night when her children needed reassurance. Her love was steady, quiet, and immeasurable.
She loved to laugh, loved her family, and embraced life with a full heart. Alda will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, her gentle humor, and the way she inspired everyone around her simply by being who she was.
Alda is survived by her loving husband, Jose Martins, and her sons, Claudio Martins and Filipe Martins, who will forever carry her love and memory with them.
