Adele Elizabeth Tamosaitis 97 of Mississauga, beloved mother to four children, passed away quietly of old age on November 28th.

She was born in Garliava, Lithuania in 1927 to Elizabeth (Kairiukstyte) Gincas and Edward Gincas. Adele attended schools in Lithuania and Germany before immigrating to Canada after WWII.

Adele was a devoted mother to John, Rita, Donna and Kristina and a devoted grandmother to Bianca, Michael and Alex. Adele had a sense of humour, loved to sew, garden, entertain friends, cook and bake. She’s left her children and grandchildren with many fond memories.

Adele was preceded in death by Andrew, her beloved husband and her siblings Jonas, Natalija, Albinas, Alex and Vytas and is survived by her children and grandchildren who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (HWY 10 N. of QEW) on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10-11 AM. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 11 AM.

Interment at Saint John's Lithuanian Cemetery.
