Pani Zosia was my neighbour during my two years when I lived in Toronto. She always had a big smile which she shared with everyone passing by, especially children and youth. She invited me few times for a “tea” but the table was full of delicious foods she made herself. I will always remember her “jagodzianki” - cake made with fresh blueberries. I was shocked how many she made in just one morning and how efficiently she used the fruits and energy (by using it during the cheaper time of the day!). She reminded me of my grandmother who could in a similar manner stretch any resources. I was admiring her knitting work, while she was humbling saying that it was very hard for her to sew but she learned it when she wanted to make outfit for her daughter. She told this story many many many times. It was clear that she loved her daughter and her grandson about who she talked often A LOT! Me and my family we also admired her extraordinary garden. She often shared her gardening skills with the neighbours teaching us which plant to keep and which to get rid of. But when asked what was her secret to gardening again she just humbly responded that when she has difficult time in life she turned into gardening. This was such an inspiring story. Now, reflecting on this difficult time of pandemic, I myself started to plant few flowers on my balcony and I admire even more how wise she was. She lived till the magical age of 90! This is extraordinary live. I am very happy for her that her soul now is able to join her beloved husband ❤️. She deserved the best, and now she is looking at us all from the sky sharing her big smile with us and probably encouraging us to try her favourite recipes. I am extremely thankful for having meet her and I wish all her family a wonderful celebration of her life. She was a true angel 😇.

I am saddened to hear of your family's loss. Your mother/grandmother was the sweetest neigbour who loved God, her family and the children in the neighbourhood. She loved to share cookies. and sweet treats with my children. She always spoke with kindness and was a woman who reminded me of the blessings of motherhood and children. She was always happy to see my children scootering down Wright Avenue and commenting how it was a delight to see them. She had such a genuine concern and interest for others. Her devotion to her husband and family was undeniable. Her joy radiated even when she had to deal with her health problems and the loneliness of being a widow. I will always remember her beautiful smile and warmness. My family will pray the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the repose her soul.
