It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yumiko Kawasaki, 68, of Toronto, ON, on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Yumiko was born November 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Kenichiro and Teruko (Mizuyabu) Kobayashi.

Yumiko will be deeply missed. She was a selfless friend and adored by all of us who had the privilege of being around her. Her positive energy was infectious and her selfless nature was always appreciated and loved. I send strength to all of her family members during this difficult time. Yumiko was a bright light and gave so much love to all of us at Humber Valley. From sending homemade noodles home to my daughter to stepping into my position as a Phys-Ed teacher, she was always there for anyone who needed her. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
