Through Simon, I came to know Mrs Tan when I took up residence in her apartment in Lachine for a year while working downtown Montreal near Plaza Victoria station.
Her generosity and love went beyond close families as anybody would easily find out. I had the blessing of being a recipient of her love and kindness as if I was one of her children under her ward. She is such a gentle soul. I know she will be a guardian to everyone who has crossed path with her.
