In Celebration of

Wladyslawa Todorski

June 18, 1932 -  April 21, 2020

Wladyslawa Todorski (nee Gizinski), was called back to our Lord on Tuesday April 21, 2020 after a debilitating stroke.
Born June 18, 1932 in Lipniak, Poland. She was a simple farm girl who married a simple farm boy Jan Todorski in 1953. Together they had three amazing sons, John, Zenon and Christopher. After emigrating from Poland on the Stefan Batory in 1964, they built a loving and caring family on Fern Avenue. They were part of the Polish community of St Casimirs Catholic Parish. She was popular fixture within the community of Roncesvalles.
After the death of her husband Jan, Wladyslawa was unable to leave her beloved neighbourhood and church, so she moved into the Corpernicus Lodge Retirement Home on Roncesvalles. Where she was welcomed and loved by all the residents and staff. Always with a smile, a hello, and a candy for whomever she met on her daily walks.
Neighbours, friends, shopkeepers and family loved Wladyslawa. She never ran away from hard work or helping a friend in need. She had a heart of gold and a saw good in everyone. She had strong faith in God and was a regular at St Casimirs Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jan and son John.
She is survived by her sons: Zenon and his wife Cathy, Christopher and his wife Christine; as well as grandchildren Jesse, Ben, Sarah with husband Brent, Julia with husband Jeffrey, Daniel, and great grandson Emeryk.
Due to the pandemic, family ask that in lieu of flowers that family and friends pray with us at home on Saturday at 9am or donations can be made to St Casimirs Catholic Parish or Corpernicus Lodge in Wladyslawa’s name.
Funeral arrangements will take place on Saturday April 25, 2020 at 9am at Turner and Porter - Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga and will be laid to rest next to her loving husband Jan at Sanctuary Cemetery - 1567 Royal York Rd Toronto.
When the pandemic is over the family will have a proper mass and celebration, details to follow.

Very sorry to hear about your dear mother. My parents were very good friends of your parents and spent many weekends playing cards. Last summer I saw your mom at Copernicus and she remembered me and sent her well wishes to my mom. Sorry for your loss, she will indeed be missed by all her friends.
