In Celebration of

Wladyslaw Ryszard Kuszelewski

December 6, 1922 -  February 4, 2021

Born on December 6, 1922 in Eastern Poland , passed away quietly in Kensington Gardens in Toronto on the evening of February 4, 2021. He leaves behind, his beloved wife of 73 years, Wanda, nee Mackowiak and his children, Ray, Dana, Edward & his wife Mira and George & his wife Iwona and his beloved grandchildren, Nichole, Eric, Roman, Micheal, Mark and Alicia. Walter arrived in Canada after liberation by the Allies, from a displaced persons camp in Germany, where he was indentured to go to work at a Bissett gold mine in Manitoba. Wanda and Walter agreed to meet halfway between him and Wanda, then working in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. They got married and lived in West End Toronto, until health problems resulted in their placement in care facilities . There will be a private cremation service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kensington Gardens, https://www.kensingtonhealth.org/foundation/ways-give where Wanda continues to receive kind, loving, and dedicated care. The family will hold a mass later in the year to celebrate Walter's life.
