In Celebration of

William (Bill) John Traynor

March 19, 1963 -  November 22, 2018

Passed away with family by his side at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Thursday, November 22, 2018.

Bill, beloved husband of Lisa Villani and devoted father of Patrick and Sara, son of Bill and Helen Traynor, son-in-law of Linda Villani (late Nick), brother of Rob Traynor (Tanya) and Annette Holland, brother-in-law of Michael Villani (Dina), and uncle of Logan, Dylan, Kyle, Shelby and Nicola.

He was an entrepreneur and spent most of his career in the sales profession. Bill prided himself on serving his customers by building trust, strong rapport and long term relationships with them. Counting on him was a given.

Bill was truly loved and admired by all. His kind spirit and good natured attitude was evident in everything he did. If Bill wasn’t helping one of his kids or friends with a sports activity, business venture or health interest, he was thinking about and researching it on their behalf.

No doubt, the loss of Bill will leave a deep hole in the lives of many.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm on Monday, November 26th. A friend of the family, Msgr. Sam Bianco will say the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor Street West, Toronto at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 27th with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Bill and I were friends for many years. We bonded playing hockey together in Port Credit and sharing great social time post-game at The Pump. We made a valiant effort to cycle together in the summer. Bill’s son Patrick went to school with my daughter Mary Frances. Bill was gentle and soft spoken with a genuine and humble personality. His sudden death is a shock to all. I pray that his wife Lisa and his children can find solace in the memories of the time they shared together. You were taken far too soon from us Bill; I will miss you.
