September 20, 1942 -  April 27, 2021

Valere, Wendy Ann (de Montbrun) (1942-2021) Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, with her children at her side. Beloved wife of the late Richard Valere. Loving mother of Donna-Marie (Brian Jones), Sharon (Dwayne Abbott), Brent (Dr. Tracey Bourdeau), Patrice, and Simone (Steve Bauer). Adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren Alicia, Stephanie, Andrew, Natasha, Nicole, Michelle, Jodi, Shawn, Owen, Evan, and great-grandchildren Brett, Layla, Ava, James, Greyson, and Nathan. Wendy is survived by her sister Jenny DeCastro and brother Michael de Montbrun (Joanne).

Strong in her faith, she was a loving, kind, giving Mother and devoted wife and will always be remembered by all the lives she touched. The family are grateful for the care and support by all the staff at Thistle Creek Health Care, Stay in Place Senior Care and Martina Kozdra.

Due to COVID restrictions visitation at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk - Erin Mills" Chapel is limited to a small group of family and friends by invitation only.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish in Georgetown on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 10:30 am. There will be no in-person attendance beyond immediate family and spouses.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario.
