Passed away surrounded by family at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Anna (née Lukaczyk) for over 50 years, his forever one true love. Loving father of Yarko (Rebecca), Roman (Marta) and Adriana. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Maya, Elizabeth, Leah, Michael, Julia, Alexander, and Katherine.

Wasyl worked for many years at Canada Bread (Dempster’s Bakery), known to his closest friends as “Bill the Baker”. He will forever be remembered as a sports fan and avid “Wheel of Fortune” specialist. He was whole-heartedly a family man to his core. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation will take place at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Friday, August 25th 2023 from 6-8pm, followed by the Prayer Service (“panachyda”) at 8 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3625 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga, on Saturday, August 26th at 11:30 a.m.

Interment at St. Volodymyr’s Cemetery.
