In Celebration of

Walter Jucke

Walter Jucke died peacefully at his home in Port Credit, Mississauga on Sept. 12, 2021. He was 92.

Walter is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma Jucke (née Somerville); his son Clayton (Giselle) Jucke; his daughter Donna (Tony) Chandler; and his two grandchildren, Curtis and Jaclyn Chandler. He is predeceased by his three siblings: Alex, Mary and John.

Walter was born in Montreal on June 22, 1929. He resided in Quebec until moving to Mississauga with his family in 1970.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Walter lived for his family. To those closest to him, he will be remembered as a selfless man of great character, integrity and wit. Once a skilled skier and hockey player, Walter led an active life, and was happiest when tending to his gardens, puttering outside, or simply barbecuing a meal for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A private family ceremony will be held at Turner & Porter, Peel Chapel.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be greatly appreciated.
