April 17, 1933 - November 9, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing in Mississauga on Friday November 9th, 2018. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Bohunicky). Loving father of Lawrence, Christine (Mark Carragher) and Lisa (John Harper). Proud grandfather of Isabel, Lucia, Keenan, Logan, Victoria and Myles. Frequently referred to as “one of the good ones,” he shouldered an ever increasing burden with humility and strength. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.

So sorry to hear about Walter's passing. I had not seen him at church for quite some time and often wondered if he was not mobile enough to come to Mass.
He was a wonderful human being - down to earth, friendly and just a classy guy. I'm sure Terry had something to do with his dapper look.
Fenwick loses another country boy.

Dear Friends

Not only "one of the good ones", but a very handsome one as well. It has been a pleasure to have known Walter for over 45 years, not only as a good neighbour but a good friend. We shall miss your visits here in Beamsville.
There are no words at this sad time to console you for your loss is huge and the wound deep. May a Choir of Angels now escort Walter on his way to Heaven. Know that you are all in thought and prayer.

Dear Terry
We are both so very saddened to hear about Walter’s passing.
Tony met Walter in 1991 when we were novices in the sailing community. We had purchase an auto pilot which did not fit which Walter in his usual generosity offered to modify the steering wheel to accommodate it.

We have enjoyed Our many Friday evenings with Walter and Tony will particularly miss the lively conversations.
Our dinner outings will not be the same.
To you and your family please accept are heartfelt condolences. He will truly be missed but remembered affectionately by both of us.
