We are sad to announce the passing of Walter Gidomski on August 22, 2022 at the age of 94. Proud and loving father of Dave (Jan) and Susan (Paul), caring Papa to Matthew (Jill), Lindsay (Kyle) and Jordan and great grandpa to Madison. Predeceased by his wife Jadwiga and will be dearly missed by his partner, Stella Drabik, son Vig (Ingrid), daughter Wanda, grandchildren Vicky (Andrew), Jason and great grandson Henry.

Walter loved fishing and took great pride in his beautiful garden. There was never a shortage of garlic, tomatoes and plums. He immigrated from Poland in 1951 and was the eldest of 8 siblings. Walter lived a wonderful life and maintained his driver’s license until 94. He loved to be surrounded by his family and enjoyed a party! May you rest in peace…..we will all miss you dearly!

Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter, Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W. Mississauga on Thursday, Aug. 25th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm (prayers 3 pm Thursday). A Private funeral service and mass will be held Friday for family members only.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his church, St. Stanislaus or the Mississauga Trillium Hospital where he was very well cared for. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors for their kindness and compassion.
