Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, March 10, 2023 in Toronto, at the age of 96.

Beloved husband of the late Angela (Stanulis). Devoted father to Ruta (Myron Douglas). Loving grandfather to Kassandra and Sabrinna. Survived by his oldest sister, Albina and predeceased by his siblings in Lithuania, Rokas, Elena, and Janina. The family would like to thank all the staff at Labdara Nursing Home for their care and kindness.

Vytautas worked enthusiastically in the Lithuanian Canadian community and at the Lithuanian House helping to ensure that the arts, culture, and traditions were upheld for all to enjoy and be passed along to the upcoming generations. He also kept very strong ties with family and friends in Lithuania and helped forge organizations that would assist the less fortunate, especially children. His foresight in what the future could hold led him to work very hard making sure that the Labdara Nursing Home became a reality.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Tuesday, March 21 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Rd. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10 a.m.
