Passed away peacefully at The McCall Centre for Continuing Care.

Virgolino was born in Alcacer do Sal, Portugal. He is predeceased by his parents, Joaquin and Catarina, and his siblings Perpetua, Flore, Antonia and Francisco, survived by his sister Aurora.

Loving husband of 60 years to Virginia, devoted father to his sons, Antonio-Jose and Stanley (Helen), proud grandfather to his granddaughters, Stephanie, Amanda, Bella, Nina, and Emma.

We will forever miss your generous heart, the smile you had for everyone you greeted, and your joyous laughter. You were always the first to lend a helping hand. The joy you brought to family gatherings will forever remain with us. The stories you loved to tell and your many favourite sayings are now a part of your legacy. Family gatherings without you will be hard on our hearts, but we will carry on with the many happy memories you shared with us (remembering even the little things, like your ritual of rolling a small ball of bread in your hands). You will be dearly missed and never forgotten. We love you Dad.
