It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Virginia Gasparetto in the early evening of July 23, 2022 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga.

Virginia exemplified class, kindness and generosity as she touched the lives of so many on her 90 year journey.

Virginia together with her husband Marcello enjoyed a rich and full life, and were an example to so many of what is possible when you lead with your heart and you are true to who you are.

Virginia was a cherished and devoted friend, easy to be with and who made you feel relaxed and important in her presence.

Most of her greatest joys in life were found in the simple things: summer days at the cottage with the kids, Christmas tree decorating parties and evening walks in the snow, cooking for others, and spending time with her beloved pets, Peanut, Brandy and Maddy.

Virginia is survived by her son Ron, her daughter-in-law Sahar, son Dean, daughter Diane, and step grandchildren Chris and Claire. She is predeceased by her husband Marcello (2013).

Family and friends may visit at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2340 Hurontario St., Mississauga.

Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga.
