Victor Eduardo Sagredo (Aitaxu) passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital. He was 86 years of age. Beloved husband of 54 years to Maria Luz Jacqueline, devoted father of Marcela (Omar), Francisco (Laurie), and Jacqueline (Erick) and loving abuelo of Raquel, Samantha, Omar, Nicole, Sofia, Alexander, Macarena, Joaquin and Isabel. Cherished older brother of Toya (Claudio), Julio (Patty), and predeceased by his sisters Lily and Alma. He was uncle to numerous loved nephews and nieces in both Chile and Canada.

Victor left Chile in the 70’s to work in Venezuela as a civil engineer and later at the age of 76 he immigrated to Canada. Among his many interests, Victor loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, climbing mountains, writing, woodworking and listening to jazz.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St W in Etobicoke (Dundas St and Burnamthorpe Rd) on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:00-1:30 pm followed by mass at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, 122 Rathburn Rd (Kipling Ave and Rathburn Rd) from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Nuestro Queridísimo Victor E. Sagredo S. para nosotros Aitaxu, partió al encuentro de Dios la tarde del 22 de Agosto del 2023. Con el corazón lleno de gratitud por haberlo tenido en nuestras vidas y dejarnos sus enseñanzas confiamos que su alma está en paz.
Su esposa, Maria Luz Jacqueline, sus hijos Marcela, Francisco y Jacqueline; sus yernos Omar y Erick, su nuera Laurie; junto a sus nietos Raquel, Samantha, Omar, Nicole, Sofia, Alexander, Macarena, Joaquin e Isabel; comunican a sus demás familiares y amigos que estaremos reunidos despidiéndolo este Viernes 25 de Agosto de 12:00 a 1:30 pm en la funeraria Turner & Porter Butler Chapel y de ahi celebraremos una misa en la Iglesia de St. Gregory a las 2:00 pm.
